Next Week Rocks: Supporting Artists, Building Community

Next Week Rocks was founded in July 2020 with a clear mission—help artists survive and thrive in a world that had suddenly shut down. What started as a livestream production company quickly became a force for creative resilience, producing talk shows, stand-up comedy, and music performances that raised over $35,000 for artists during the pandemic.

As the world reopened, we didn’t stop. Instead, we brought the energy offline, launching a monthly free concert series in Denver, CO—funded in part by a city grant, matched dollar-for-dollar by the tech community. Every cent went directly to local musicians, creating a space where the music scene and the tech world could reconnect after years of isolation.

Over the years, we’ve worked with a powerhouse lineup of artists and comedians, including Brian Posehn, Ron Funches, Maria Bamford, Doug Stanhope, Lydia Lunch, Mark Normand, Dan Soder, David Yow, and Raymond Pettibon, alongside an incredible roster of underground legends and rising talent.

Next Week Rocks is still evolving. Right now, our focus is on the future—exploring ways to empower artists through data ownership and direct audience connections, cutting out industry middlemen. More to come soon.
